Founder of Yum MumWhen our third baby Oliver arrived after a
5 year gap, I found myself revisiting the baby food aisle of the supermarket.
It was one of those rare nights I had decided not to cook. I searched for a
suitable food for a 9 month old and purchased an organic jar of baby food. I
fed it to Ollie and he promptly spat it out and tried scraping it off his tongue.
He refused to eat and went off to bed after a yoghurt and fruit.
After a nights sleep, I awoke with the idea of producing something better, something that resembled real food and looked and tasted like a home cooked meal. It appears little has changed over the years, and as a mother who is passionate about her children's health and nutrition the idea of Yum Mum was conceived.
I wanted to create something for parents and caregivers that they can rely upon for its freshness, taste and texture. It also needed to be nutritious and convenient. Yum Mum is indeed all of these things and more. We have used certified organic ingredients and a combination of herbs and spices in all our exciting multi cultural recipes.
I also believe you should only feed your children what you would eat yourself. So Yum Mum is good enough for the whole family.
